no picture

hi all
need some help i am running dvbdream 1.4 and em**ation 4.1.0.13
i have my codecs set as follows
video(intervideo v9.0.14.84-3/4/2008)
audio(same)
video mixing renderer 9
audio rendering (default)
H.264 codec (core acv)
i read in the forums these codecs should work i am still getting picture can someone point me to the thread i need to be reading
