I have tried to record to MPG and unpicked rendering picture so my file was empty.
Am i doing something wrong or can be recorded without viewing only to TS?

in renderlessmode, you should be able to record in both MPG and TS formats. but DD doesnt support recording H264 (HD) channels in MPG fortmat. So that might be why your file is empty
