DVBDream/VLC can't stream h.264

When I attempt to stream h.264 video from DVBDream to VLC 1.0.1 VLC opens but shows only 1 still frame. MPEG2 video works just fine. I don't know if this is due to DVBDream/settings or if VLC is choking. VLC shows no messages at all, so no help there.

Any ideas about how to figure out what's going on?

It works fine here, your pc might not be powerful enough to handle it.

That is usually the first sign that your chip don't have the juice.

If you have Windows 7, try dvblink and WMC to see if that improves the performance, but if its too choppy on VLC, chances are WMC wont do much for you in terms of watchability... if it skips here and there, it may.
