dvbdream and kworld dvb-s 100

Postby dan86 » Fri Dec 25, 2009 2:53 am

Hi,

I've got dvbdream setup on a kworld dvb-s 100 with drivers supplied. It all works great in regards to recieving the satelite signal which is good quality. However every hour or so the satelite signal completly drops and I have to wait 30-40 minutes to regain the signal and use the card again.

Has anyone else had this issue? The dish is hooked upto 4 other satelite boxes so its not an issue with that. I'm wondering whether it might be a driver issue.

Any advice/help would be appreciated.

The problem was due to me using a one input to two output fplug splitter from one lnb. You can't have different channels only one when using that. I will put another feed from my lnb to the card.

you can NOT use coax-cable splitters with satellite equipment.
Cause coax-cable for satellite reception is a two-way street.
