I'm using Windows Vista Home Edition, and currently schedule recordings via the Scheduler.
Can you set programmes in the scheduler, then allow them to record, even if the PC is physically switched off? (and DVBDream not running as well!)
The reason I ask is, that, sometimes I'm out all day and don't want to leave the PC on for economy reasons.
Any advice on this is appreciated.
Recording even when PC is off

System to hibernation, add a scheduled task to wake it up.
Hi sceald86,
you can but, AFAIK not directly from DD.
However, if you put your system into hibernation and add a scheduled-task with the option to 'wake the pc' it should work.

Hope this helps.
