i had the same problem with my diseqc. I had to disconnect all the cables to the diseqc and just hook 1 up at a time and scan. then hook them all back up. but then you have an all new problem because anytime you change the channel to a diff lnb then you started on then it rarely connects. the only way i have found around this is to change the channel to a diff lnb, then restart the program. for some reason the diseqc commands just dont stick. I have asked for help in these forums but have gotten no where so goodluck.

You are wrong.
You have absolutely different problem.

matrix2010 uses a BDA driver which doe snot support diseqc protocol (or at least, generic BDA interface does not know how to call diseqc functions of his driver), that's why his switch is not switching.

You use a driver which works fine and has full diseqc support.
in 95% cases intermittent diseqc switching is due to lack of proper grounding.
