Hello,

After trying and buying ProgDVB and DVBViewer, I then came across DVB Dream. I wish I had found it first, because it seems much superior and more stable.

I'm sure the other programs have their fans and some ideal uses, but DVB Dream seems to suit me well and my Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-HD-S2 card.

I'm on Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit, and the following settings seem to work well :
Enhanced Video Renderer.
FFDShow for MPEG-2 Standard Definition video and also audio decoding.
DivX H264 codec for High Definition video decoding.

Glad to hear that.

FFDShow might not work stable enough with all channels. (it might crash DD) I recommend Intervideo codecs for MPEG-2 video/audio (which comes with demo version of WinDVD). CoreAVC or DivX will be fine for H264.
