channel locking problem in v1.2b

Postby gestapo » Sun Sep 17, 2006 4:28 pm

hi ;
the version 1.2b is very good. but i only had a problem. its about channel switching. when i scan dd finds all channels. but at zapping it doesnt show some channels , imediately. it sometims shows after a lot of trying.
i install version 8.7b and it works clearly. there isnt any problem at channel changing.

what is the problem?

try to play with different configurations (there are plenty of handles to tweek).

For instance, try check box "DS graph rebuild on channel change", etc.

First download the new version. Then check this topic, if it's the same problem, if not, explain your problem better.

no this isnt same problem.

i mean in version 1.X the channel signals get low then version 0.8X. for example at dvbdream 0.87b a channel has 95% quality and 100% strength and also opens easily. but at version 1.X (1.1, 1.2 or others) same channel has 34% quality and 94% strength and also opens difficult, it opens after one or more tryings.

it shows clear at both versions, the matter is opening channels.

I dont know how old dvbcore displays the signal/quality scale. Actually it is not important at all (for picture quality or recording etc, channels should work same way in v0.x and v1.x, it doesnt affect on reception, just something in software)
DD uses Technisats official documantations (on SDK device)
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it
