Hi Yesterday i reinstalled my entire system from scrach so now i have clean windows 7 x64 (no other software than hardware drivers, windows updates so far installed
Now I installed DD on admin account and then created an unprivileged (standart) user account for daily usage but somehow DD is not starting under this account.
Any ideas what coud cause such behavior ?

ps i have madew sure unprivileged user hass full access rights to DD folder, subfolders and files.

Starting it from unprivileged account even with run as administrator isn't helping.

Im not posting this under bug reports couse DD is runin just fine under Admin account.
I would just like to run it under unprivileged user as well.

DD needs access to program files folder, windows system folder as well, to check codec versions, to check the existence of system & driver files and their versions/dates.
it can modify the host file , so it needs full access to there. this is to make sure it can reach DVB Dream server. they have been crack attempts by changing host file. To reach some system properties like codec property pages and driver options , DD might needs full administration rights.

im trying to get it goin with standart user account (earlier versions did run that way) 1.5f for sure not certain about 1.6 as i was usin XP x64 at that time.
I think most probably hosts file write access might be problem here as read access to most parts of system is granted to standart users by default (listing codecs / devices without changin their properties should be possible for nonadmin acc)
Will make some tests tomorow and try to find the problem.
