Postby rel » Tue Dec 20, 2011 4:00 am

Please add your tests with your devices, under this post in the following format. So we can track them down and fix the problems etc. Also it will be a nice reference for other users. You can always edit your posts.

Test Environment: DVB Dream version, Driver version, Windows OS Version, Your Nickname or Name, Test Date
Manufacturer: company name
Model: model name / number
Type: device type (USB/PCI/PCI-Express) , tuner type (Satellite/Terrestrial/Cable)
Supports DVB-S2/T2/C2: Yes/No/No hardware support (if the card supports new modulations, i.e. 8psk, you can add also short info here)
Diseqc switch works?: Yes/No/No hardware support (and short info , if partially supported)
Diseqc motor/raw diseqc works?: Yes/No/No hardware support (this is in fact the raw diseqc support, only if you have motor/positioner or a raw diseqc device to test with please add this line, please also specify which raw diseqc device you use, i.e. motor or switch model&type)
RC works?: Yes/No/No hardware support (remote control works or not?)
CI works?: Yes/No/No hardware support (add this line if only your device hardware supports CI/CAMs)
Notes: Description of your experience with this card on DD

Example in the following post.

HD DVB-T USB tuner EVOLVE Mars

Postby Dreamer » Wed Nov 21, 2012 2:29 pm

Test Environment: DVB Dream v2.2b, IT9130 BDA Driver 11.4.26.1, Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit, by Dreamer, 12.10.2012
Manufacturer: Evolve
Model: HD DVB-T USB tuner EVOLVE Mars
Type: USB, Terrestrial
Supports DVB-T/T2: Yes, No
RC works?: Yes
Notes: Device works unstable, one day it works good, the other day it doesn't work and require full reinstall of drivers on Windows Vista, it freezes while installation. It works quite stable on Windows XP while testing few days. Tuner sensitivity is weak, remote control is almost unusable, it works from about 1m from sensor. I do not recommend this tuner.

AVerTV Ultra PCI-E RDS

Postby Dreamer » Wed Nov 28, 2012 3:40 pm

Test Environment: DVB Dream v2.8.1, AVerMedia H777 Hybrid DVB-T driver version 1.1.64.35, driver date 4.11.2008, Windows 10 Home 64-bit, by Dreamer, 2.9.2016

Test Environment: DVB Dream v2.8.1, AVerMedia H777 Hybrid DVB-T driver version 1.1.64.35, driver date 4.11.2008, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, by Dreamer, 1.7.2016

Test Environment: DVB Dream v2.2b, AVerMedia H777 Hybrid DVB-T driver version 1.1.0.35, driver date 4.11.2008, Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit, by Dreamer, 28.11.2012

Manufacturer: AVerMedia
Model: AVerTV Ultra PCI-E RDS
Type: PCI-Express, Terrestrial
Supports DVB-T/T2: Yes, No
RC works?: No
Notes: Device works well - DVB-T tuner. Remote control doesn't work in DD. Analog tuner and FM radio don't work in DD (it has no support for it). Driver installation is quick and easy. Tuner sensitivity is quite high (unlike the other USB DVB-T tuners). Tuner works well together with the Skystar HD2 in the same PC. Multi-recording, PIP and scheduler work well too. Timeshift is not stable after some time.

(Updated 3.9.2016.)
