What model of video card do you have?
Does LAV video decoder work?
When did you last update your Nvidia card drivers?
What make of DVB card do you have?

Purevideo only works on Nvidia cards. There might be accelerated codec that came with the ATI card.
Try again with another video decoder. Maybe download FFDshow.
