I purchased DVB Dream in February 2011 but I have never managed to set it up to work properly.
I have satellite dishes and PC DVB cards since 2004. To skip history (just to mention that I am using both ProgDVB & DVB Viewer Pro without problems, for both purchased license)
at the moment:
I have 2 TBS 6925 DVBS/S2 Tuner PC DVB cards, one purchase in 2012, another last year, 2 PCs (every card in another PC), 3 motorized satellite dishes with twin LNBs, I do not have diseqc motors, I move dishes with remote control for positioners.
TBS drivers are properly installed, I do not have any problem with DVB Viewer Pro but DVB Dream has some features which I need so from time to time I have tried to reinstall it and set it up, every time unsuccessfully. Now I am especially interested to watch 4k UHD channels, DVB Dream has UHD(4K)/HEVC support, so I again installed the newest version but with the same results.
Thinking that there is some collision between DVB Dream and DVB Viewer Pro when I purchased new PC (in July 2015) and installed TBS 6925 PC DVB card I installed DVB Dream only but I got the same: I can get only several TV channels at 19.2E and 13E (I would say predefined), I cannot scan at all – I am always getting “No lock”. I added all satellites during DVB Dream installation, I chose Diseqc: None …
I have checked every option and settings … I have no idea what I can do more.
Any help would be welcome.
By the way this is very strange that there is no option to contact support in members’ area.
Thank you very much in advance.
Why DVB Dream has never worked in my case - I purchased it in 2011? Can someone help?
