Using 2 Dishpro Quads with a Diseqc Switch

I am posting this because I had such a hard time finding this information.
I have 2 Dishpro quads that I wanted to point at 110,119 & 82,91 and use a Diseqc switch to switch between the 2 dishes (4 birds). However, the normal 4 port Diseqc settings and a raw command to switch the internal DP switch would not work. I think it's because DVBDream sends the Raw command then sends the Diseqc port command thus canceling out the orignal raw command. So as a result of this the only way I could get it to work is as follows:
Set Diseqc settings to "NONE"
Add all your Satellites to the list.
Set up all LNBs to "NA Bandstacked DP Ku-Hi (DBS)
Set 22KH to "OFF"
Set Uncommited to "Disabled"
Now the tricky part.
Each Diseqc port is controled by a raw hex command. There are probably many more commands than I'm aware of, but these are the one you would use for this setup:
For port 1 through 4 of the Diseqc switch use one of the following:
Port 1: E0 10 38 F0
Port 2: E0 10 38 F4
Port 3: E0 10 38 F8
Port 4: E0 10 38 FC
Note: these same commands also work to switch the internal DPquad switch. So you have to use a string that includes 2 commands so that you can control both switches at the same time.
Now that you know what the commands are to each port, you need to input them for each satellite in the "Diseqc settings" under "Raw Diseqc".
119 is located on port 1 of the DPswitch. So if you have your 119,110 (dishn**) dish on port 1 of the Diseqc switch you would enter the raw command as follows:
E0 10 38 F0 E0 11 38 F0 (I'm not sure what the "11" does but it works)
This tells the Diseqc switch to use port 1 and the DPquad to switch to port 1 also.
If you had 119,110 on port 2 of the Diseqc switch it would read as follows:
E0 10 38 F4 E0 11 38 F0
Telling the Diseqc switch to use port 2 and the DPquad to use port 1.
Got it?
Now 110 is located on port 2 of the DPquad switch. So it would read as follows:
E0 10 38 F0 E0 11 38 F4
Telling the Diseqc switch to use port 1 and the DPquad to use port 2.
The same goes for the 82,91 (BEV) dish. 91 is located on DPquad port 1 and 82 is on DPquad port 2.
I found that doing a test scan after you input each raw command is a good way to make sure your settings work. You should pick the same transponder on all sats and scan to make sure that the channels are different, in turn telling you that the switches are working.
I hope this helps out a little.
