MPG record issues
- It works good now, with full ts mode enabled, so also other users could test with full ts enabled and this mode might become default.
Deadlocks (freezing of the program)
Channel change / picture problems (freezing of the video, stuttering etc)
- It works very stable now in 1.3a with latest plugin(s), also switching, also scrambled channels (100% legal), but needs more tests.
Diseqc switch problems & USALS (check following option for BDA drivers pls)
BDA diseqc problems
BDA incompatibilities (The BDA devices that are not working)
- I don't have any BDA device yet.
Therefore I vote for:
Stuttering in Timeshift
- Needs some tests with the latest plugin, but until now, there are quite annoying (smaller or bigger) freezing/stuttering, also at FTA channels.

I have a TerraTec Cinergy DVB-S 1200.
-----
BDA incompatibilities (The BDA devices that are not working)
I heard from some other people that their TerraTec DVB-T devices aren't working! My TerraTec DVB-T stick isn't working, too.
TerraTec Cinergy Hybrid T USB XS BDA 4.6.817.2 (external; stick)
TerraTec T2 Cinergy (1.08 ) BDA 2.3.0.24 (external)
TerraTec T2 Cinergy (1.08 ) BDA 2.3.0.24 Windows Vista RC2 (external)
Twinhan DVB-T-PCI-Card (internal):
only 5 channels found, signal 100, quality 0-3

it works great with my pinnacle hdtv 452e in BDA mode, also supports nvidia purevideo
today I got a diseqc 4 ways switch and it doesn't work so I vote for:
BDA support (Limited DISEQC support* because of BDA restrictions!)
or, if restrictions are not avoidable, for 452e hardware support
thank you

Of course, as usual, my request or, complant, is purly jaded.
I can't very well yell about a video stability issue problem I can't see, because, TBS Q-Box's DBA drivers are not quite up to speed yet.
The rest of the non-DBA driver users are rapidly advancing their knowledge and useage of the program. While we with DBA driver issues wait in the wings, ready and waiting to play with what looks like a fine effort.
thanks

I really don't have any of the issues listed in this pole. Everything runs very smoothly on my setup.
I would like to see some smaller things fixed just for ease of use and ease the frustration for newer users. Like ether fixing the channels in the scheduler or removing them all together, so that we are forced to go by the channel names instead. Which i wasted a lot of time and almost gave up on the program due to being used to going by numbers and not names..
also another thing in the scheduler is when you input a duration for a recording, It shows the duration and AM or PM on the end. Which doesn't make sense. At first i thought i was doing something wrong and spent a lot of time trying to figure out why the end time was wrong, then i realized that the AM or PM isn't supposed to be there and that say 3:00 PM duration really meant 3 hours.
But tiny things like that makes a world of difference, in terms of easing new people into using the program. endless more users aren't wanted.
it's just that small things like that makes a bad first impression even though the program itself is very good in my opinion, just has some cosmetic fixes to go through.
Thanks for the great product though. Excellent piece of software.

I think recording mpeg issues should tried to be corrected first. Right now I'm not sure if hi-def mpeg-2 files captured with my genpix card are compliant. There's a way to put hd-dvd on regular dvd's, but the major authoring programs like Moviefactory won't accept the files I record, even though Moviefactory now allows hd-dvd authoring.
The second most important problem to be fixed(at least with my card) is timeshifting. It starts stuttering when you scroll back, and then I can't even record properly.
