Return to Renderless Mode after scheduled record.

Postby compuwade » Tue Nov 21, 2006 8:21 pm

It would be nice if DD was to return to renderless mode after scheduled record was finished. Right now if you schedule a program it will execute DD or "wake" it from renderless mode, record the program and then continue to play the current channel after the program is finished. It would be nice to have it either exit the program or return to renderless mode so that the program doesn't sit there playing for no reason.
Or maybe even better, have it record in renderless mode all together.

All features you are requesting are already implemented, check the "Quit" and "Renderless mode" options in Scheduler window.

Moving to General.

Ok. Well, I didn't see that feature listed in the help file anywhere. My mistake. However, there is still one problem. If you select to record a program using DVBEPG it doesn't show up in the scheduler. So what do I do in this case?

You are right, it doesn't show up but, as a workaround, just edit the Scheduled Task and add the /shutdownafterrecord switch in the command line of the scheduled task.

I know it's a pain to have to edit the scheduled task everytime but I am sure it will be fixed soon.
