I have a Hauppauge WinTV-DVB-s card and it is not recognized by DVBDream. I need help, please does anybody have any idea?

You can use the BDA Driver of Techno Trend.
It works well
(I use 4.4.10.17)

Only is you don't have Dishpro LNB it will work. I haven't figured out how to contact Technotrend to get the driver fixed.

WinTV DVB-S is the name for previous model of WinTV Nexus-S. Those cards are Premium cards (ie : include a MPEG2 hardware decodifier)

Sorry to inform you, that this card is not supported by DD's latest releases, but you can try DD's previous releases (ex : 0.88b) based on DVBCore.

My Nova Budget card also says WinTV DVB-S

I have a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-4000... Very few programs seem to have proper support for it so far. In dvbdream i get the problem discussed other places on this board where only one satellite gets scanned no matter how many heads/diseqc positions you enter. Should I try to change the drivers from BDA to something else?

As far as I know, multi-tuner cards are not supported by any alternative software. Those products are recent so there are few technical informations about them.

Yes but it's a Technotrend card, not an Hauppauge one

In fact, Hauppauge cards are oftenly Technotrend clones but the naming of their products is not the same.
