DVB and Diplexer

am i able to use one line(RG6) coming into my bedroom and have cable and dvb on the same line, using a diplexer

yes, you need two diplexers, though.
One for mixing the signals into one cable, other - for demixing.

i cant get a complete scan lots of transponders being skipped over

cant get it to work so off comes the diplexer
