Problems scanning

I'm trying to scan.
It doesn't seem to matter what I change in my settings. I've even tried raw commands, and I always only pick up one sat. I'm trying to convert over from mytheatre which works, so I can rule out hardware problems (i think).

I thought I had it. All day i've been trying possibilities and could only get 110 to scan. When I tried to scan 119 I just got 110 again.

Now the problem has reversed. I don't know what I have done to cause it but all I see now is 119. I've spent all day trying logical and non-logical attempts (guessing). Any ideas?

Have you switch to 119 with another software?

It seems that DD doesn't handle DiseqC commands for your Twinhan 102g in a right way.

I think it may be entirely possible I opened up mytrheatre to be sure it was still workingl. Almost positive. How do I remedy this?

I do have a dishpro adapter that used to make legacy style receivers work with dishpro. I think I will give that a shot (setting up dd for use with legacy, and then using the adapter). If you have any ideas i'd appreciate it.

With the dp adapter, I get a mix of both satellites on all scans. I'm running outta ideas...

could you describe (in detailes) your software Sat configurations?
like: LNB type, LOFs, Diseqc type, Dseqc row, 22kHz, etc.
also, did you use default INI file?
or tried to make them "dishpro compartible" (which you should NOT do with DD)?

I'm using dishpro lnb's, and a twinhan 102g. A dish pro quad for 110/119, and a dish pro twin for 61.5. At this point I have only been trying to get 110/119, thinking 6t1.5 would fall in line.
The two lnb's feed into a dp34 with going into the following ports:
1: 61.5
2: 110
3: 119

The switch currently outputs to the pc (port1) and a coolsat (port 2)
Mytheatre and coolsat currently have no problems with hardware.

I've spent the past couple days trying every combination of software settings I could find (even the ones that seem illogical). I even tried setting up the software for a legacy lnb and using one of the dishpro adapters. I did try what I thought was to be the correct setting (choosing diseq, adding satellites on the correct ports, and choosing the dp dss setting)
The scans I get aren't even consistently incorrect.

Incorrect channels on transponder.

I appear to have the same problem.

I successfully tested with My Theatre but was not exactly crazy about the user interface. I liked what DVB Dream has to offer. I installed it and tried scanning for the channels. Initially, I couldn't even find a signal. Out of curiosity, I thought something may have gone wrong with my hardware. I opened MyTheatre and picked up 1 of the channel and was able to get a good picture. I went back into DD and started scanning again. This time it was able to pick up all the channels associated with the transponder I was previously viewing with My Theatre. But the next next transponder also picked up exactly the same channels.

The only way for me to get the correct channels with the correct transponder was to jump back into MyTheatre and activate the transponder from the MT software and then come back into DD to do the scan again with the new transponder.

Even with the above workaround, I cannot change channels located at a different transponder without having to shutdown DD, run MT, start up the channel I wanted to see, close MT and then run DD again. It appears DD can't jump to a different transponder on my setup when I change channels. ie. I can only watch channels from 1 transponder at a time without having to do the above.

Any ideas what's wrong or if there's a fix for that?

Thanks

I have the exact same setup only without the DP34. I use a modified pansat diseqc switch. It sounds like the problem lies with the DP34. If you eliminate the dp34 and then try to scan only 110/119 using the miniswitch setup and the DPlnb setup I'm almost positive that will work. If it does then you need to find someone who is using the DP34 and DD together and ask them for their configuration.

Just a thought.

I'm trying to scan.
With DVBDream v 1.3a - Twinhan SDK (DVB-S)
Starbox Vision Plus
Nimiq1
LNB: Ku-Linear (Universel)
lof1 = 9750000
lof-SW = 11700000
lof2 = 11250000
level = 45%
quality = 58%
all transponders are empty = No chanel...

You need different LNB.
Nimiq1 uses curcular polarization transmission.

Thanks genpix.

I try to do it with circular LNB (12500000) without success.

Almost Identical issue here as well, TwinHan 102G working in MT, I have Circular LNB (Old DTV style) with Sat1 at 110 and 119 on Sat2 on Diseqc 4 in 1

Any settings to configure a positive scan would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks much
