Not a bug so topic moved to "General".

I have not seen you first question about it, but you are right, PoorMan's Cam can be consider as a legal plugin as it only permit to use a valid subscription card.

As JoshyFun (creator of this plugin) says on is web-site :
This software does not crack or let you view anything that you have not payed for.
For those who do not know what this plugin is :
"Poor Man's CAM" ("PMCAM" from now) software is a MultiDec and DVBCore plugin that allow you to use your legal TV subscription card to see your currently subscribed channels in your computer using an easy and cheap Phoenix interface.
More information about it on JoshyFun website : http://joshyfun.peque.org/

(NB : you can also find weekly updated transponders lists on this website)

For the use of this plugin, be 100% legal you need to pay access-fee to the encryption process used by your subscription card (ie : have a DVB receiver or a CAM that is compatible with this encryption process)

What I can tell you about PoorMan's Cam is that PMC sec* 2.62 works fine with DD and a valid CSat France subscription card. I haven't tested it yet on my own (I'm waiting for the delivery of a Phoenix card reader to use my CSat France subscription card with it*), but friends of me have already test it with success.

(*) I'm actually using a Aston Cam with my Twinhan DTV-CI (VP1030A) DVB-S card but it does not works very fine.

Hello FredB
I use Poor Man's Cam and he behaves well only sometimes getting suspended results in DD. (I use the legal card the Cyfra + (seca2)). I wanted someone to analyse the logs of mistakes, he interests me or this wine DD plug-in connectors. Just but I wait as much as you will have Phoenix, we together will test. I greet

You can also contact JoshyFun (creator of PMC), you can find his email address in the about.rtf file included in PMC 2.62 package.

I know that friends who are using PMC with their CSat France subscription card encounter issues when channels encryption change (ie : C+ France is partially FTA and when it switch to encrypted they have to reselect this channel in order PMC to decrypt, JoshyFun has already been informed and will try to correct it in next version of its great plugin)

Well, PMC used with my CSat France subscription card and a Infinity USB Phoenix is running very fine on DD.

Till now, I have not encountered any issue.
