pip0 and pip1 using two DVB-S cards

Hello,

I managed to use two DVB-S cards (one Skystar2 PCI and one Skystar2 USB), simultaneously in the same PC, initially using two different DVB players, one of which is dvbdream.
Now, I just wonder whether dvbviewer can support pip0 and pip1, respectively assigned to the two different DVB-S cards.
Thank you

Don't know, but if you mean DVB Dream, just try it, make a copy of DVB Dream folder and run both at once, it should work, if not, try to install Technisat drivers (4.4.0) and use SDK device for one card and Direct device for the other.

If you meant to watch two channels from two different cards in a single instance of DVB Dream, this is not possible (yet).

Running two instances at once, one dvbdream and another of a different player, was relatively feasible, although problematic restrictions existed. On the other hand, two dvbdream instances at once, started as you indicated, proved not possible due to exception errors.

Yes, that was what I really meant. It would be nice to do it.

Thank you

So it doesn't work at all?? It should work, perhaps you need to change a card in Setip4PC, or, do you tried this command line option?

dreamstart.exe /device=2 (select the card, multi card configuration)

Yes, the two programs start, but cannot be properly said that they work, they basically step onto each other's foot. On the other hand, I don't think running two simultaneous instances is the proper usage, since, eventually, the pip function would come more appropriate.

Thank you.
