KWorld 310U and DVB-T in the UK (Freeview)

Hi.
I bought the KWorld 310U a few days ago and set it up with the hypervision software supplied. It works to an extent (I can watch tv at decent quality, decent signal (~70-80%) and get all the UK freeview dvb channels) but the rest of the program leaves a lot to be desired (general interface, EPG etc).
I saw the 310U on the supported devices page so i thought I'd try it out. I set it up using the drivers on the KWorld CD and selected the BDA Terrestrial drivers when prompted. I selected the UK profile for frequencies (they match up with the hypervision frequencies) and set it to scan. Unfortunately it wouldent pick up any channels at all.
I remeber reading somewhere on this forum that DVB-T wasn't working on some devices on my various searches so I thought I would post before I go back to the hypervision software. Any help would be appreciated!
EDIT: I'm using 1.3c
