Diseqc 4x1 is killing me

seems that i get a lot of chops or stutters and don't get complete channel scans on one tv, the other tv works just fine witha disqec 4x1 is there something else i can use besides these disqecs that seem to be sensitive.

i have 2 setups one in living room and this one in bedroom, the living room works like a champ but in bedroom it sucks, so i went into attic and switch the disqec that living room was using and put it on bedroom line did a freash channel scan and i get 231 channels of the same channel...man this is driving me nuts

anyway to do without a disqec is there some kind of other switch i can use that might be better. looks like i have a bad disqec

A tone switch is not a diseqc switch. So if diseqc switch is giving you problems, and you only need two ports, tone switches are great.

can i get away from using disqec, do i have any other options

i have a dual lnb with built in sw21 can i use that instead of disqec
