ATSC is not supported on DD. Any BDA ATSC device can tune to frequencies with DD but scan won't work and it won't display video. This is due to ATSC - DVB compability issues. It might be supported in future.

Ok, thanks, but be aware picture and sound are fine with the new bda driver, just can't change channels..

Please close DD (or neccessary shutdown and restart PC) and have a look at the file 'BDA_ALL.LOG'... There is listed what happens when DD is calling the Interface and you/i should see where the prob is.

Were you able to glean any more info on my W2K crashing problem? I posted BDA_ALL.LOG.TXT (obviously after I rebooted) on page 2 of this thread.

Still no go with my setup. After moving the files and starting the BDA_ALL driver, and closing down DD and restarting, it crashes W2K quite expeditiously. BDA_ALL.LOG is empty.

I am just getting to trying this out, Im on xp not 2k. using bda all 105, got twinhan bda driver 1.0.3.4. Mt scanned got channels. DD scanned no channels. Using nvidia purevideo codecs vid mixing renderer 9 cyberlink h.264 (PDVD7) nvidia audio codecs. picked DPku- high (dbs) lof 1 and 2 are correct need help with setup. here is bda all log:

In this Interface-Version, i added some feautures for the future to use an available CI/CAM with TwinHan cards.
These notes above appear when the TwinHan-PSI-Parser is not loaded on the machine. That (should) have no effect for the graph to be build.

The main problem would be the driver itself... ?!
As you can see the graph must be build because:

Any info on conflicting programs? I will switch to 104 as you suggested in geman site, but first I will swap sats on my ports and get another bda log for you. Any plans on an english plugin for your german site? I am using babel fish, but it doesnt get everything, such as buttons and sign ins. I think we could say more there on the subject?

Every Programm which is using any DVB-Card/-Box blocks the Tuner !!! Either by using a BDA- or WDM-Driver !
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO USE MORE THAN ONE DVB-APPLICATION AT SAME TIME ON THE SAME CARD/BOX !!!
Mostly this is the Prob while DD couldn't initialize correctly and / or can not tune to a specified Transponder !

The 'BDA_ALL' Interface is language-independent - it's only an interface which normally don't communicate with the user >> DD has to do the translation of languages.

What I maent was some things we cant say here in this forum. I thought we might be able to say them in the german forum. I am from the US. In the german forum you replied, 'oops, driver not connecting filters properly, use 104 until I find the bug'

I know the driver is language independant. I was asking if you as a mod of the german site ever thought about putting an english language plugin on your german web site. When I load the site in babel fish I dont get a reply button so I have to load the page in 2 windows to try and read or answer posts. My webmaster friend told me you could just install a plugin that I guess would give us an american flag to click on or something. I knew you could only use one program at a time, but I didnt think it would make a difference to have more than one installed on your system at a time. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for all your work and helping me out. If I remove MT completely, will I be able to re-install it with the same key I got from saar?

I tried to speed it up a little bit so that there should be no more stuttering on 'normal' programms.
DVB-S2 seems to have a little prob with displaying an synchronising video and audio. This is a prob of DD - this didnt depent on the interface.

Also some cards (Hauppauge NOVA-S2) won't tune to DVB-S2 programms.
There must be a special handling to tune those cards and i havn't any clue/info yet...

So everybody can try out this version and let me know the millions of other bugs
