Pls Pls Help, Prof 7300 No hd s2 Channels

Postby ger1980 » Tue Mar 30, 2010 6:31 am

Hi

Can someone help me, im going crazy. I purchased a prof 7300 redline because my old card was not dvb-s2 compliant, I had read good reviews of this card and was told it was compatible with dvbdream.

The card will not scan any hd dvb-s2 channels at all but does seem to get a lock I think, every transponder I have tried.... no luck. It works fine on regular dvb-s channels.

Ive tried the most up to date driver +Module and the last driver availible, no luck, even tried different versions of dvbdream.

I'm using win 7 x86 32bit.

Help is much appriciated.

Thanks

Hi Snuffer

Thanks for your reply, Any chance you could upload the bda driver you are using please. That would be a great help.

Also what version of dvbdream are you using and what version of the prof drivers.

Cheers

Read this thread to the very end (it does mention Prof cards).

Crashing

Postby ger1980 » Fri Apr 02, 2010 7:42 am

I tried the bda driver and I am using prof driver 1.0.5 latest from prof website.

I am getting much more channels to tune now, but not all, but the problem is when I try to watch the tuned channel the level and signal drops to 0, and i find i have to restart dvbdream a few times to get it to work, then happens again when I change channel.

Thanks for your help

Im starting to think its a faulty card, I hope not???

Ok Got something sorted, thanks guys.

Turns out its not a problem with dvbdream as I tried a couple of other Satellites and the hd channels worked fine. All bda drivers work.

Thanks again
