Run time error when open file during renderless mode

DD 1.4i show runtime error when I open the pre-recorded file during the renderless mode. Step to reproduce:
1. Switch to Renderless mode
2. Click Menu\file\open
3. Select any pre-recorded file (either ts or mpg format)
4. Hit OK to load the file, Runtime error shown up. The file never loads.

There is another issue with opening files:

1. Select a H264 channel and make sure it is watchable
2. Open a prerecorded MPEG-2 file
3. It seems the file is loaded, but no video and no audio.
4. Select a mpeg-2 channel and make sure it is watchable
5. Open a prerecorded mpeg-2 file
6. Now the file is playing OK....
