Will DVB Dream work with or accept KU Band transponders

I have been trying to get DVB dream 1.4 to scan for the past week with no success.
What I have found out trying to get the software to work was DVB Dream would not accept or list or scan a transponder frequency with more than that had more than 4 numbers in it.
Example --- A C Band transponder 3705 V -------- would be accepted but a KU Band transponder 12180 V ------ would not be accepted.

I even punched in 1218 with no problem but when I put the zero on the end it would not work .
I thought DVB Dream was designed to work in the KU band as well as C Band
Can anybody PLEASE set me straight.

how did you describe your LNB in DVB Dream?

yea, it acts according to LNB type you specified.

For Ku-Band , you need to pick "Ku-Linear or Ku-Circular"
so that you can see Ku frequencies in the transponder lists. (in that case you wont be able to see C frequencies)
only one band will be available at one time for the defined satellite/LNB.

Hi thanks for the return.
I set the LNB in Dream to Other Lof 1 10750
Lof Sw 0
Lof 2 11250
The same settings I had to set up the LNB in the Prof tuner card menu to get the tuner card to show 100% quality and 85% signal
IF I set the LNB to universal the Prof card does not detect anything.
