Only Audio Track 2 works when streaming through UDP

Hi, my name is Cassio and I'm new to this community and to dvbdream as well.

I'm trying to stream to VLC through UDP, using the udp://@:1234 format on VLC, and it's works but have an issue:

For whatever channel that has 2 Audio Tracks, always only Audio Track #2 works, which is the second language (english, I'm in Brazil), If I switch to Audio Track 1 in VLC (Audio / Audio Track / Track 1) there's no audio at all.

But if I open the same channels in DVBDream window without streaming, Audio Track 1 works as it should.

My DVBDream is registered.

Here's my setup:

DVBSKY S960 DVB/S2 USB card
Windows 7 x64
DVB Dream v2.6a
VLC client V2.1.5 (already tried with the nightly built VLC 3.0 also, same problem though).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Best Regards to all,

Cassio

Try "Send all channels (whole TS)" option in DVB Dream's streaming options. (restart DD after this) Then select the correct audio channel in VLC

I wouldn't like to use this option, since it consumes much more bandwith and I pretend to stream a dozen of channels to a remote site at the same time.

Are there other options?

Thanks

Normally DD should stream the selected audio channel to VLC. But there might be a bug, you can wait for the next version as I noted to check it out. Or maybe VLC doesnt support the first audio channel streaming format

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I had some progress here. If I go into the channel proprieties, english audio pid is selected as default. If I switch the default to portuguese (which's already populated) and start streaming, then the other track start working on VLC, so the problem is not with VLC not supporting the encoding.

If I try to switch the audio track through VLC after the streaming starts, the non-default audio channel doesn't work, should it really not work?

Thanks

Cassio
