Hi,

I just purchased my license of DVB Dream today.

I came across one satellite channel which DVB Dream appears to handle incorrectly when forwarding via "LAN streaming."

Subject channel: KCTV
Thaicom5 78.5E
Freq: 3,696H
SR : 4.167Msps

Details:
With above channel,

*Works
-Viewing in DVB Dream
-A stand-alone receiver with UDP output -> VLC or FFmpeg

*Does not work
-DVB Dream LAN streamer -> VLC or FFmpeg


With the not working combination, both VLC and FFmpeg show corrupted video.
This combination worked fine with other channels both in SD and HD.

I would appreciate this being addressed.

Video format might not be supported by LAN and MPC.
If so there is nothing much to do .
Can you upload some sample stream for me to test on? from that frequency.

How to capture a sample stream
1) Depending on the device you got there, you might first need to enable "Full TS" mode in device options & restart DD
2) start "TSWriter2" (or "Stream Recorder") module (under DD main menu->Modules) on the problematic transponder, record about 100 mb
3) upload file to somewhere (pcloud.com, justcloud.com, dropbox, google drive etc). and send links to me

Hi David, it has very low SR , in other words, low bitrate. Please try to reduce Buffer size please for low SR channels. instead of 18432, try 1/4 of this for example 4608 see if it helps and find the best value
