FULL SCREEN REZ CHANGING OPTION!

Ok I know video games can change the computers rez when opening and then change it back on close. Well most of us using an hdtv as a monitor have this horrible flicker problem in 1080i. The icons and windows flicker but the video and pictures look awesome. Pluss the Icons and text are way to small. I keep mine at 720p with excellent results.

I was wondering if you could add an option to automatically change the rez to a custom specification when entering full screen mode then change it back when leaving. This way all the hidef channels in 1080i look awesome and when your done your desktop wont have to suffer.

This switches my pc to 1080p minus screen resize for hdtv pc monitor. When iits not in full screen my rez is 720p.

why not just run a high resolution desktop and adjust text and icon size to match...


i think that option might be something good for games, but it would be semi annoying to myself... my 3 cents..
