Custom keyboard and mouse shortcuts - for all current shortcuts and some new:

New keyboard shortcuts request list:

Toggle Stay on top - Ctrl+T
Teletext - T
PIP menu - P
Close all PIP windows - Shift+P
Toggle Rec. all - Alt+R (or Ctrl+Alt+R)
Cancel rec. all - Shift+Alt+R
Next audio - A

Switch between Main window and fullscreen / TV window and fullscreen - Alt+Enter (or/and F, or Enter if possible)
Switch between Main window, fullscreen, TV window - Ctrl+Enter
Switch between Main window and TV window - Shift+Enter
Switch between Main/TV window and PIP windows - Ctrl+Tab
Hide locked channels - H
Help - F1
Rename channel (open properties dialog and focus to ch. name) - F2
Select channels in channel list tree - Shift+Up / Shift+Down
Select all channels in current folder - Ctrl+A (it's a standard, other if not possible)

Change Brightness - Ctrl+Insert / Ctrl+Delete
Change Contrast - Ctrl+Home / Ctrl+End
Change Saturation - Ctrl+PageUp / Ctrl+PageDown
Change Hue - Alt+Insert / Alt+Delete
Change Gamma - Alt+Home / Alt+End
Change Sharpness - Alt+PageUp / Alt+PageDown

Reset Brightness - Shift+Insert
Reset Contrast - Shift+Home
Reset Saturation - Shift+PageUp
Reset Hue - Shift+Delete

New mouse shortcuts request list:

Mute - right button + middle button
Volume - / + - right button + wheel
Last channel (same as backspace) - right button + left button
Switch between channels prev. / next - wheel

Old keyboard shortcuts that could be changed to better or standard:

Rec. - R
Cancel Rec. - Shift+R
EPG - E
Scheduler - S
Renderless mode - L
Disable channel blocking - B
Video - V
Preferences - F12
Exit - Ctrl+Q (or Alt+x)

There is a workaround (HotkeyP, more here), it works good for global shortcuts, but only for existing DD shortcuts - and 'normal' shortcuts can be changed only to shortcuts that are not in DD (e.g. I can't change up/down and left/right). This will change soon, it should be possible change also 'normal' shortcuts.

I think it is not a difficult process to create a hotkeys module. There is one thing only at this time I am speculating about. How can one see all the commands to let user assign a shortcut key to it. is it necessary to list them all by hand?

Several shortcuts added to list in the first post, of course not very important, since it will be possible to change them with HotkeyP, but some new shortcuts could be added, at least Colors and Teletext (when it will be implemented), it would be very useful.

oops this is a collision

ctrl+tab and ctrl+shift+tab are standard windows shortcut to switch tabs; since DD has two such in the main window I am against this one. please do not add it.

Maibe I am refering to some other place as main window like you are. I am tallking about the window where you can see the menu and channel list.
Controll where you can see "general", "favorites" and "remote" is the first tab; and the other is where all the satelites and the text "all" are displayed.

I mean the main window - that window what is shown when you start DD. Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab don't work there at all, these shortcuts work only in some sub-windows like Scan, Quick Scan...

nice suggestions. I think they are necessary because I realized that now it is even inpossible to select multiple channels using keyboard only.
or maibe I am doing something wrog as usual
