Diseqc support for Creatix/CTX BDA tunercards (Medion)

DVBDream works ok for one sat on the Medion PCs. But the real question is now if it supports also diseqc from DVBDream.

I looked on a lot of fora now, als of Medion, but nobody seems to have the diseqc working for the (in EU very common) Creatix CTX triple/dual sat cards.

What to do to let this work?

I need SDK or info from manufactured about diseqc programming interfaces on their BDA tuner filters.

In the mean time I found out that Cyberlink TV Enhance works perfectly with the CTX/Medion Sat card: it scans ALL 4 SATs and when wathcing, it automatically switches between the different SATs, so diseqc seems to work.

The only thing is that DVBDream seems not to support it.

I will try to find an SDK, but how/where do I find it? Or now yoi now TV Enhance supports diseqc in the right way, is there an other way to let DVBDream do it?

Ask Manufacturer. It's the only place to get it.

do you really think that answer would be different if you start another thread with identical question (you already opened three identical threads!)?

It's like asking: "I know, I need new water pump to repair cooling of my old Ford's engine. But is there a way to repair cooling without water pump?"

In the mean time I had contact with Creatix/CTX and they responded promptly with a (probably useful) answer, which I send to Rel (via PM).

So let's hope it will work soon.
