free codepage solution.

I see that there are still problems with displaying EPG with right national letters.

Using Windows Codepage translating solution has many limitations. I think that there is much more codepages used by DVB providers in EPG than windows can support.

Maybe you can do something like own codepage translator that will translate codepages of input from EPG using tables located in normal txt files ?

Then it will be easy to add not suppoerted by windows codepages.

I know similar solutions from AmigaOS (where is a TTF support using manual settings of codepage translations to unicode).

TXT is not EPG!!! And this solution (replacing 1 char by another 1 char) is not usable for multibyte encodings such as ISO 6937 commonly used in EPG.
