Im not sure if this is easy to do but after setting up sheduled task (weekly or daily) after its first run everytime i edit it when saving changes i get a popup saing that the date is from past.
If possible the sheduler should change the first run date of the task to the nearrest future planned start time.
This would get rid of that annoing popup and (very rare - not sure if still present in 1.7) corruption (non executing) of the edited task
