Dark picture with the New 1h Version

Just downloaded the new DVB Dream 1h.
Problem: Whenever I use the "Generic Video Renderer", the picture is too dark to follow...(this even changes in the old DVD Dream.8 I have installed on the same computer.
Is it due to the New "Overlay Mixer2" or the "Generic Video Renderer"..?
How can I treat this defect..?
TwinHan red 1020A
CPU Intel 2Mb,1GB RAM,
Motorized 2.4m dish, Single LNB
No Diseqc
ATI All in Wonder 7500 display (with Analog TV),
I live in the Middle East and mainly watch Hotbird
dvbdream.exe 1.4 i ........Patched
DtvVideo.sys 2.4.1.0 (2/26/2004)
DtvAudio.sys 2.4.1.0 (2/26/2004)

i'm having same result on my tests with overlay, it might be optional in next versions, use VMR or VMR9 until that .

What exactly do you mean with "it might be optional in next versions"? New option to change contrast, brightness...?

Another workaround - use ffdshow - there are also options to change contrast, brightness, gamma... More information is here.
