1.2e Using DVB-t cards!

Postby daWsOn_s » Wed Oct 11, 2006 1:42 pm

Hello,
I would like to use my Twinhan DTV Ter with dvbdream for the first time to test it. When I open it I must select a satellite and then select the dvb-t europe satellite I create with my frequencies (.ini file). When I start searching the program doesn't find any channel but it doesn't try either, doesn't reconignize level and quality. The only thing that works is that if I use make a manual search on a random terrestrial (also satellite) i find always the last multiplex that I used with other application like progdvb or twinhan DTV software and I can view those channels normally. How can I fix it? I tried to find in the forum with no results.

Thanks. :D

is it BDA driver?
BDA drivers are not supported yet (wait for version 1.3).

Or contact Rel (DD author) if you'd like to test it, here is his a post from DVBN forum:

"Is there any DVB-T/C BDA card owner?

New BDA device is almost ready and I need terrestrial/cable testers to make sure everything works fine."

No it's not BDA driver but WDM so it should work as the FAQ says. Anyway, I will send him a message :D

other dvb t/c devices than Airstar might work on DD but not tested.

Twinhan SDK device should work for dvb t/c.

I've just v1.3 beta announce to you with PM, if you would like to test it with BDA driver too.

Yes, it works with BDA driver, but I thought that TS recording records all pids of the channel, but it's just record audio and video, not all audio pids, video and teletext.

you can use stream recorder module for now, if you want to record all pids . (all channels in the mux will be recorded)
