When i start recording in Main Window and schedule Recording with PIPRECORD for other channels the Record of the Main Window will be interrupted and continued in a second file at that time the PIPRECORD starts.
For multiple PIPRECORDS the Main Record will be interupted everytime a new PIPRECORD starts. The other PIPRECORDS will finish fine without interruption.
Example:
Main starts at 12:00 and should End at 15:00
first PIP start at 12:15 and end at 14:15
second PIP starts at 12:30 and finish at 14:30
third PIP starts at 12:45 and finish at 14:00
will result in
File 1 for Main from 12:00-12:15
File 2 for Main from 12:15-12:30
File 3 for Main from 12:30-12:45
File 4 for Main from 12:45-15:00
File 5 for first PIP from 12:15-14:15
File 6 for second PIP from 12:30-14:30
File 7 for thid PIP from 12:45-14:00
i also tried recording PIP first and Main later
resulted in PIP aborted ( no second FILE ) at that point Main started
so only solution i found till now ist start recording Main before first pip
( just for garbage ) and record only with PIP with stopping Main after last PIP stopped.
is there any solution yet i missed
or is there a chance that will change with next version ?

the pip record feature has beeen planned that way. so it is the way that should work.
You can schedule a group of channels on the same transponder for the same duration. Logically you can't schedule pip channels for different time and durations, since there is only one "duration" parameter is available at a time.
