Is this fixable? this is the only thing stopping me from using DVBDream. It works fine under MT

Thanks very much for this patch!!!

I'm a newbie - just bought my first card a few days ago, a Geniatech Digistar 3 DVB-S PCI card. I tried ProgDVB, myTheatre, mediaportal, and DVB Dream. I like DVB Dream the best, but I could not get it to scan the channels, until I found this patch.

I have tried the latest bda.dev.20080614 on both xp sp3 and vista sp1. It works very well! I'm still missing some channels and cannot get it to scan certain tp's, but with the patch it got most of the channels.

It took me a while to figure out the configuration so I'd like to share them here:

- 110W
- LNB: NA Legacy
- raw diseqc command: e0 11 38 f4
- uncommitted switch port: 2
- 119W
- LNB: NA Legacy
- raw diseqc command: e0 11 38 f8
- uncommitted switch port: 3

Thanks again for this wonderful program and the patch to support Geniatech cards!!!

Thanks for the tip, but I can't manage to get it to switch from one LNB to another.
How does this work exactly? In DVBDream do you actually choose a diseqc switch or not? Or do you just choose uncommitted ports only? Why did you choose port 2 and 3? Is that how your LNBs are hooked up to your switch?

In my case, I have one LNB hooked up to port 1 of my diseqc and another one hooked up to port 2. No matter how I set it up it ultimately ends up scanning the first LNB. It never scans the second one. However, it does scan both in mytheatre.

Any tips or disgruntled suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

hmmmm, nope that didn't work. It keeps scanning the same satellite, the one on port 1.

Can't figure out why...

Any ideas?

What brand of diseqc switch do you have?

I gave up on the switch & use motor, but for all of you still having problems you can try the driver from here:

Hello

I have Pinnacle 7010ix tuner card, is work perfectly with this driver.
But have no diseqc control. Can anybody help me?

I use BlackGold BTG3540 driver 6.0.0.39 32bit on XP.
My other HW is Gigabyte MA-790X-DS4, A64-X2 5000, Radeon X1950Pro, 4GB DDR800. 4 port diseqc switch.

Link to my tuner driver: http://blackgold.fileburst.com/download ... _32bit.zip
(work more stable, and without suprise`s than orginal 7010ix driver).
(In this archive is *.map file with offsets - maybe helpfull in programming.)

Log, from bda.dev is attached to reply.

Best Regards
halinka1125

Sorry for my pure english.
