Hello to everyone. After installing fresh windows vista system I'm now having a problem with cyrillic channel names in channel list and EPG. Everything else like OSD and interface text is displayed correctly.
I have every available dvbdream font setting set to cyrillic codepage, russian as a language for non-unicode programs (makes the interface display correctly, but not the chanlist/epg), tried changing the font in theme.ini but with no luck. I even tried font substitution registry hack and it didn't work. Does anyone have this problem solved?
Please see the screenshot to give you an idea of what is going on: screenshot
Previously I had DVB Dream on a different Vista build with Russian language pack integrated into installation dvd and there was NO problems like this. Currently I had the langpack added after the installation. Hopefully this helps to determine the source of the problem.

But not change.
Then I make Languages/japanese.ini.
This ini apply is several places change text. Not excact, font is no change.
Of course, localization "preferred languages" setting is <jpn>japanese.
"always preferred languages" is on.
I use DD1.4i by "ResourceHacker".

The Delphi TLabel and DEFAULT_CHARSET is not good work in Japanese.
I make japanese.ini display text is not good work TLabel.
But, effect change DEFAULT_CARSET to SHIFTJIS_CHARSET on RCDATA / TFSETTINGS by ResouceHacker.
It is normal display.
I think Delphi TLabel and DEFAULT_CHARSET is not good.
By the way, EPG font is not changed...

EPG data debug
Hello.
I try to debug by ollydbg.
The receipt sattelite of JCSAT3A.
This sattelite EPG data is japanese code.
May be, "KANJI" is JIS code??. And "HIRAGANA/KATAKANA" is EUC
low bit code??
May be, 2byte JIS code "KANJI" and 1byte EUC code "HIRAGANA"
between 0x8A and 0x89, The 0x7C afterward is EUC low bit
"KATAKANA" code. May be.
Can DD1.4i EPG data transfer raw data to plug-in?,
Before convert MultibyteToWideChar.
If can it, I think solution is plug-in.
