Multi switch problem

t-55 toroidal dish with 4 reversed dual lnbs
EMP Centauri multi-switch 9 in 8 out
pc intel p4 3.0 gb, 2gb of ram
video card ati all in wonder x600 pro (256mb)
Running xp media center

No problem to scan echostar 8 (110 deg) and echo 7 (119 deg) but
when i scan nimiq1 (91deg) or nimiq 2 (82 deg) i received echostar channels.
I already change many setting in diseqc with no luck.
The funny thing is : My viewsat xtreme is working find using:
port 3 22khz on for echo 110 deg,
port 3 22khz off for echo 119 deg,
port 4 22khz off for nimiq 1 ,
port 4 22khz on for nimiq 2

My theater is working find.

Someone have any idea?

multyswitch is not a DISEQqC switch. You should not use DISEqC command with it (unless you meant something different under "multy").

Emp centauri called the swith "DiSEqC Multiswitches
". I have the S. 155-CP model.

For installation exemple.

My installation use 4 dual lnbs installed on t-55 toroidal dish.

Probably dvb dream is not working with diseqc protocol.

Because my theater is working find on the same pc.

i have been having the exact same problem. i cannot get dvbdream to control my switch (an emp 9x4) it works fine in mytheatre, but recording does not so i need to get an alternate program working and this is my best bet. i hope there is an answer...

native BDA device doesnt have diseeqc support for twinhan yet.

you could try ScanMan's alternative BDA_ALL device.

I changed my 1027 card for a Genpix usb adapter with a dish 8psk tuner.
The switch is the same (EMP Centauri 9 in - 8 out) sat 82, 91, 110 , 119. The diseqc protocol is still not working after many try.

The setup is working find with my theater.
(Thanks to Genpix for is great products i can watch hd on DN).

Someone have suggestion on the direct raw command for this setup.
