Only 6(+1) PIP scrambled channels can be opened*. Tested with two different plugins. 19+1 PIP FTA channels can be opened without problems.
Edit: * More PIP windows can be opened, but there is just a black screen on those windows.

That's not true. I am constanly viewing (and sometimes recording at the same time) 8 + 1 scrambled channels from the netmed bouquet on hotbird (nova). In fact 9, is the maximum viewable channels broadcasted on the same transponder on that bouquet so 9 is not the limit but only my experience.

Yes I am sure. As a matter of fact they all use irdeto2. I am using WinCSC as a client to connect to my Dreambox 7025 which runs newcamd as the card server.Strange, I can reproduce it on 2 different TPs/satellites, with 2 different plugins, also another user from a Czech/Slovak forum can reproduce it.
Are you sure all the channels are really scrambled all the time?
Perhaps another user might help to clear it up...
What is your scenario having problems?

Hi All
the many PIP channels opening depend on your codec you have on your computer ,
like if you use intervedio it just open 7 PIP,
if you use cyperlink you can't open pip,
if you use Elecard or Navidia or sonicdvb codec you can open what ever channels you want on PIP
thanks

No. This is a misunderstanding.Hi All

The maximum number of viewable channels depends on the codec but not the actual number of channels DVBDream can handle. Even if you don't have picture you can still record the channel. As a matter of fact, I recorded succesfully 11 scrambled channels at once in renderless mode without any glitch (on an empty fast SATA though) so the only limitation is how fast your I/O is and nothing more.
Cheers
