Scheduler - manually add an event name

Postby re43re » Mon Sep 18, 2006 4:17 am

Hi,

Nice software - good work !

Please add the possibility to manually add an event name to each scheduler task, that will be added to the recorded file name.
(The same as the EPG event, but for channels with no EPG)

Thanks.

Also, a name to the Windows scheduled task would help to find it in the Scheduled tasks list if one looks there directly and not through the scheduler window. The event name can be used for this purpose, or a new "Task name" field may be added.

Hi,

Just popping in again

Congratulations for the new V1.3 version.

I try to use DVBDream to record my favotite TV shows, but most of the TV channels I use do not have EPG, so when I look at the receorded file names I don't see which file is of which show.

This prevents me from using DVBDream for this purpose.

I would be happy even if there was just a parameter to the /startrecord command that specifies the event name, like:

dreamstart.exe /startrecord /eventname="The Muppet Show"

I could then add it to the command line in the windows scheduled task after creating it in DVBDreaam.

Thanks.
