DVBEPG and remote control

Postby gatsat » Tue Apr 22, 2008 8:05 am

How can I make DVBEPG pop up when I hit the menu button on my remote ?

Also, is there a way to minimize DD while I watch a DVD on my machine ?

Thanks ! :D

Which remote are you using OP?

Not sure what you mean exactly by your second question, do you mean is there a way to mute the audio on DD when playing DVD's? Because you can minimize the window but the audio will still play in the background (i believe) and it would interfere with the audio on your DVD. But once again, i don't totally understand the question so i don't want to confuse anyone.

Logitech Harmony 880. I would like to make the menu/guide pop up when I press guide on the remote.

Right... I was wanting to in some way run DD in the background and watch a DVD... is that possible ? Sounds like that it is not... but hey, it never hurts to ask. :) Thanks !

go to option menu in DD and select Remote
select twinhan on the drop down menu
select EPG command and press "guide" on the 880 (make sure your 880 is set to control pc)
Save and exit

Hope this helps

With the 880 setup to operate a SkyStar2 media center and DD option set to TwinHan... I can make the guide pop up... but I cannot move left to right...

I tried switching the 880 setting to TwinHan (1027) and I lost all functionality...

Either way I am about to install my new Skywalker1 ... what settings are you using for this ? Thanks !
