I am a few days into considering buying this software.

Today while recording a stream DVB Dream program crashed and needed to reboot server to get it working again.

Seems to be very buggy software.

It is probably another issue you havve there. You need to check & eliminate 3rd party plugins one by one, which cause crashes / reboot. Update your drivers.
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it
