Night wake-up for recording issue

Postby prao71 » Mon Jan 22, 2007 3:34 pm

Everything works fine, viewing, recording, scheduling tasks! :D

BUT

When I ask the system to wakeup to record an event, the program can't start and blocks at the beginning with the popup telling me it "can't start codec filter".

Pressing OK everything goes on and the recording starts. This prevent 'energy saving' and force to keep pc on whenever a scheduled task is far in time...

Is there something wrong with my pc/codec conf or is this normal and I have to give up?

Thanks guys! Great job!

That's a tough one. I'm guessing it has to do with Dream trying to start before Windows and video rendering is ready for an app like that. No idea how to fix that. And again, I'm just guessing, no idea what might be going on there, never tried that.

...I had the same feeling but I tried!

Guess I'll need to keep pc on if late recording is needed!

Thanks for answering!
