I don't know what the difference is between DVBdream 1.3 c and the newest ALTdvb 2.2 viewer, but this last one gives me the best image and very smooth video using CoreAVC 1.2 software decoder. Also CPU load is very good. Both for DVB-S H.264 and DVB-S2 H.264 channels.
Both AltDVB and CoreAVC use frames dropping :?

Short message:

Since DVBdream 1.3 C DVB-S2 channels are detected correctly and can be viewed using the Technotrend S2-3200 receiver. Although, the CPU load is still very high in comparison with other software viewers like DVBviewer and ALTdvb. The video image suffers from stuttering. So, till now no fluent image stream for DVB-S2 channels
With Cyberlink PDVD7 decoder, no single mpeg2/H.264 HD frame, either FTA or encrypted, is even displayed at all.

It looks like the Dx graph is reset over and over again though, not a cpu usage problem.

My Twinhan Mantis Doesn't work at all in DVBDREAM

Postby mr_kite » Wed Oct 03, 2007 2:12 pm

My Twinhan Mantis Doesn't work at all in DVBDREAM Not with dvbdream and not with the BDA_All drivers. My Twinhan 1027 works ok but can't change ports on Disqec even with BDA-All Drivers.

Twinhan Mantis is the AD-SP 400 or the latest TWINHAN card.

ALTDVB also doesn't support this card yet.

Also what channels are SS2? I already have most HD channels on Bev 82 working now. (in Mytheatre) I'd like to see if new SS2 card is working.
