I get NO signal what so ever when scanned
WOW!
If you did not forget to mention this tiny detail at the very beginning, we probably would not discuss DISEqC settings here.
Cause, "No signal" is hardly due to diseqc switch setings (if you even select NO switch, diseqc switch would use default input, #1 - and you should get some signal). You can double check it: remove diseqc switch from the system, connect one of the LNB directly to your card and try to tune. If you get no signal, you would understand that diseqc switch has nothing to do with it.

And in this case: you chose the wrong thread! This thread was about the misbehavior of diseqc switch, not about "NO signal what so ever". Reread the first post.
When you start to post in a wrong thread (and omit important details) don't blame others for misunderstanding.

I'd start from checking whether the source (Device) is selected correctly.

Under options, select preferences, select performance tab, Check mark "Always force to resend diseqc command", in box below that labeled "Diseqc repeat count" enter 2 or 3.

Use special switches modified for twinhan poor diseqc signal;

Change XX to tt.

Buy a Genpix adaptor the Diseqc always works !!!!
jerryt

I wish to personally thank you for your helpful disposition, you opted not to make issue of what you did not know, yet worked very well with how little good info I did provide.
Your non-egotistical approach actually helped me in looking a little deeper and understanding more as I went along.

They were all correct; other then the freezing, DD is a very nice piece of work. If you have any suggestions regarding video codec’s to minimize I am all ears.
Thanks again, using my experience I will now try to pass it along to the newbie’s who yet speak the “coders” language 

Thanks again
