Way to change MUX filter?

I have recorded some shows in MPEG2 format off of dream. I use a MediaMVP extender to watch them on a TV in the other room. The show plays fine, but sometimes the audio goes out of sync with the video, especially when pausing,etc. I record a lot of other shows off cable with a pvr150 card also in MPEG2. Those shows do not have any sync issues. I think it could be the way the dream recordings are demuxed from the TS. Is there a way to change the mux filter, or do you know of any other thing that may cause this?
