It worked just fine, but was a little laggy on HD chanel!
So I changed my pc because I just finished building my projector connected to my PC, so my tv IS my pc ... HD chanell has to work proprely !!!
I changed for a Q6600 Quad core 2.4 Ghz, 4gb of OCZ (only 2.75gb taken from Windows XP SP2), geforce 8800 GTS 320mb.
So I guess this hardware is way enough powerfull to run HD channels !
I use purevideo codec !
It works, I can watch all the channels but yesterday I was watching the hockey game (first in the PlayOffs
) and I had to switch to none HD because it was lagging !Any thing I could try ?
I tried other codec, but if you know a good one that really works fine, or maybe it s the fact that DVBDream has never been optimised for quad core .. I should run a VMware allowing only a dual core and run DVBdream on the VM ?!?!
