Hey!
Lately, my DVB-C provider started to feed one more modulation
http://ilgthegeek.livius.net/2010/08/07 ... -cable-tv/
“The transmission is DVB-C, and currently uses 13 multiplexes. It looks like the reserved frequency range is 306-498 MHz, with 25 channels, separated by 8 MHz. As reported by the STB (set-top box), the Symbol Rate is 6900 and the modulation is 64 QAM and 256 QAM.â€
The strange thing is that I don’t have any problem receiving the 64QAM modulation, but I can`t search/find the 256QAM programs
I must be doing something wrong as … even on manual scan I get only the 64 QAM programs…with Modulation set on 256QAM
If in Channels – Scan I select AutoScan …Menu – Select Modulation 265 QAM all of the check boxes before frequencies are removed… (compared to remaining most of them when choosing 64 QAM )
the 3 channels that i can`t get are all HD, 2 of them that i would really love to have
Can you assist me with a solution ?

le. the link is from somebody in another town so the frequencies are a little different, for the manual scan i`ve posted over 338.000 is similar in channels to his 314.000, but as you can see my search was over 256 QAM modulation and returned 64QAM channels
64QAM can be searched, 256QAM can`t
