[H264 Sync issue]

I am a happy owner of Skystar USB HD without a CI, such as here:

I installed it on a new laptop with Window XP SP3
After installing the NDIS driver (Skystar detected as a network card) DVBDream start, stream freezes every few seconds. I can't comfortably watch.
After installing the BDA drivers (Skystar detected as a sound card) DVBDream starts and immediately crashes - frozen.

I tried on two laptops, as NDIS drivers and BDA. None of these laptops, for any driver does not work with DVBDream :/

DVBViewer installed. Skystar works very nicely. The BDA drivers. They work SD and HD channels FTA and payable.
Fault is in the DVBDream. How to solve it?
I was left only 12 days DVBDream testing, the program I really like. I want to run it on my Skystar HD, I want to buy it later because DVBDream program is really cool :)
Please help me :)

send / attach here all your log files please , from dvbdream folder where you installed it
*.log (dvbdream.log, bda.log...)

Also try "Preferences->General->Disable signal/quality indicators" option in DD settings (needs a restart afterwards, to see if it keeps periodically freezing with network card drivers

Remove all modules and plugins while testing.

I do not have this model to test with unfortunately
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it

All plugins removed, all modules disabled. Newly installed Windows XP. Signal/quality indicator is disabled. After a few startups DVBDream, re-reading the logs. I present them in an attachment.

I can't see any crashes in the log files ? so DD worked fine ?
What is the problem? Which driver did you use while taking these log files ?
Try to change your codecs, install/use Intervideo or other codecs for both video and audio and let me know if it helps you

I tried everything. I did two films. Sorry for the bad quality of the movie, but I have not a better recording device.
DVBDream NDIS drivers - Quality: 100% Level: 100%, SD programs are working properly, sometimes disappearing good picture, for one second there are big pixels. Then again, the image is correct for about 30 seconds. HD programs are not working properly. The sound in relation to the image is delayed or accelerated by a few seconds. You can see it on film.

DVBDream BDA drivers - do not know why, but the level is only 30%. The quality is still 100%. But I changed only the BDA drivers. SD programs the same problem as the NDIS driver. HD programs - here is better. Immediately after selecting the HD channel, image and sound are synchronized correctly. Unfortunately, the passage of time but after a few seconds the image is completely unsynchronized.

In addition, changing channels takes a long time. Often DVBDream when changing channels can be frozen.

Skystar HD on this laptop to work correctly with DVBViever both SD and HD channels, the BDA drivers. Problems are only when using DVBDream.

Thanks for the videos.
I think your problem is simply related to h.264 video and audio/ac3 codecs.
Did you check if you use the same codecs on DVBViewer ?

Im not sure but why do i see on Your screens USB banndwidth usage of over 200% of avaliable bandtwith? Maybe USB is overutilized and csuses loss of packets from time to time if this is for SD then with HD Usb Utilization would be even higher so no picture couse shortage of bandtwith. (not sure bout this tho)

Is this USB workin as USB 2.0 / USB 3.0 You might try different ports on Your computer.
Also remember that USB ports work mostly in papirs so avoid attaching anything else to the port.

Not sure what else might cause such high USB usage maybe entire transporter dump?

Especially on laptops some ports are slower than others without any info printed on them.
With desktops connectors on MB's have different colors (not every time tho).
SkyStar HD with TechnoTrend 5.0.2.1 drivers

Unfortunately, for many weeks I could not solve the problem. Skystar USB 2 HD will not work correctly with the Intel 945 and DVBDream. It works well only with DVBViewer.

[H264 Sync issue]

I am a happy owner of Skystar USB HD without a CI, such as here:

I installed it on a new laptop with Window XP SP3
After installing the NDIS driver (Skystar detected as a network card) DVBDream start, stream freezes every few seconds. I can't comfortably watch.
After installing the BDA drivers (Skystar detected as a sound card) DVBDream starts and immediately crashes - frozen.

I tried on two laptops, as NDIS drivers and BDA. None of these laptops, for any driver does not work with DVBDream :/

DVBViewer installed. Skystar works very nicely. The BDA drivers. They work SD and HD channels FTA and payable.
Fault is in the DVBDream. How to solve it?
I was left only 12 days DVBDream testing, the program I really like. I want to run it on my Skystar HD, I want to buy it later because DVBDream program is really cool :)
Please help me :)

I recommend Windows 7 and latest drivers for this card,
also make sure you install & try more codecs
